What a great show at the Yellow Door Cafe tonight! There were so many people there in such a small space...it was a little difficult for me....being socially awkward and all...but it was a great time. Rob Szabo is a new favorite...his music is so honest and quirky and cool that I got tears in my eyes a few times while he was playing. It was just so great to see an artist have such a bloody good time playing and to beat all he is super nice with a smile that is completely disarming. Smiling and teary I was...(Yes, I know I'm a weirdo)
Only Forward had some great sounds. A very marketable band and I expect they will do very well if they can keep it up. I can see many a screaming teenage girl in their future. I mean this in a very positive way....their songs were very melodic and memorable..and their talent seemed to match their good looks.
To top all this I finally got to meet Emma (Folk You!) and she's an amazing girl. She's so damn cute! Please add her and check out her music page. There's so much great music there it might keep you busy forever.
